T. Gilbert Pearson Audubon Society Grant Program

Our local T. Gilbert Pearson Audubon chapter utilizes donations received from membership dues to fund grants to local nonprofits and community organizations as well as area graduate students who are conducting research related to nature, birds, and the environment.

We are both honored and eager to support projects that foster the appreciation, knowledge, and enjoyment of birds and nature and preserve our natural heritage. Any grant requests for funding for plants must be exclusively for species that are native to North Carolina or the Southeast.

Our grants range from $100-$500. If you are interested in applying, kindly complete the proposal from below. Once received, the grant request will be reviewed by the TGPAS Board, and you will be contacted shortly afterwards.

Thank you for taking an active role in protecting and nurturing the biodiversity of our planet.
