Price Park Wet Meadow Clean-up Day

The sunshine and warm temperatures were the perfect conditions for a successful clean-up in Price Park’s Wet Meadow on Saturday, January 28th. T. Gilbert Pearson Audubon Society and The Piedmont Land Conservancy along with the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department extend a hearty “THANK YOU!” to all the volunteers who came out to remove invasive plants from the meadow. Our volunteers included students from Guilford College, NC A&T, Bennett College, High Point Central High School, Northeast Guilford High School, Northern Guilford High School, General Greene Elementary School, NRCS ERSL EarthTeam Volunteers, Guilford Social Services, and community volunteers as well as members of T. Gilbert Pearson Audubon Society. Additional photos are in the gallery.
